For the more experienced chef, or a returning chef from Cooking 101 camp (although participation in Cooking 101 is NOT required)! This camp taught by Chef Billie DeNunzio is taught in cooperation with the Institute of Culinary Arts at Eastside High School for cooking enthusiasts. A hands-on cooking experience with trained chefs in a commercial kitchen. The camp is especially geared for the kids to enjoy themselves, learn about good food, and have a great time while learning about every aspect of culinary from the garden to the plate. Structured to provide a hands-on, interactive instruction under supervision of the certified chef, students learn to make a main course, side dish and dessert and then sit down to enjoy the fruits of their efforts with their classmates. This program was developed to inspire, excite and feed the curiosity of your growing gourmet. In Advance Cooking, this camp will include classes in breakfast, lunch, dinner salad and gourmet. Recipes will include pasta making, pastries, taco salads, quesadillas, decorating, and sauces. Transportation available daily from OHS departing at 8:00am and returning at 12:20pm or campers may be dropped off directly at Eastside High School. Program Cost $225 plus a $65 supply fee.
