The primary goals of this camp are to learn, have fun and get exposed to techniques and strategies that will enhance player’s ability to play competitive volleyball in the fall. Our goals are to teach and reinforce the proper mechanics of essential volleyball skills such as passing, hitting, serving and setting necessary to play middle and high school volleyball at Oak Hall. Each day will be composed of instructional periods to introduce certain skills followed by competitive game play to help the players apply the skills they are exposed to. Advanced topics such as positions and rotations may be opportunistically introduced as well.
The Oak Hall volleyball camps will be led by Varsity Coach Perry McDonald. Coach McDonald is a four-time Gainesville Sun Coach of the Year recipient and has over 15 years of varsity coaching experience in the Gainesville area. He also spent four years instructing ages 10-14 as a local, club volleyball and middle school coach. Program fee is $250 if registered by April 15th; Program fee is $270 if registered April 16th – May 15th; Program fee is $280 if registered after May 15th.
