Program Fee: $225

New Camp

Interested in learning how our legal system works?  We will visit our local courthouse as well as The State Attorney’s office or a private local law firm.  We will take a look at criminal law, appellate (constitutional) law, environmental law, and civil rights law.  The week will conclude with a mock trial with campers filling the various roles found in a courtroom!

Laura Dickey, a graduate of Cumberland School of Law, will be leading the camp. Ms. Dickey, who teaches Language Arts in the middle school, briefly practiced law in Alabama and participated in several mock trial and moot court competitions in law school.
