Family Yoga, geared toward kids, is a great way to connect and bond as a family. Kids yoga is so much fun and silly, while still teaching the eight limbs of yoga in an engaging way. A creatively sequenced class keeps kids & adults involved while exercising and to work well together. We will do yoga poses, songs, yoga games, partner work, and breath work during the yoga class. In addition, we will work on a yoga arts and craft project which will include lavender eye pillows, peace flags, and meditation jars.
This class will be taught by Kristin Wilson, who is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500), as well as a certified Kids Yoga teacher with Kidding Around Yoga. She loves bringing yoga to young yogis. Kristin is also a science teacher at Oak Hall Upper School.
What to bring: a yoga mat.
