WeRClean’s Eduardo Rondon Oak Hall School Summer Camp Scholarship
WeRClean’s Oak Hall School Summer Camp Scholarship was established in 2024 with the inaugural award being selected for the Summer of 2024. The scholarship was established as a way for WeRClean to give back to the community as well as to give back to Oak Hall’s generosity, when it provided financial assistance for the founders’ son, Eduardo, to attend the summer program.
Eduardo often describes his summers spent with Oak Hall’s summer program as key in his development as a person. Having just moved from Venezuela, he says the program helped him step out of his shell to make new friends and further improve his English. It also inspired him to serve the community; he spent multiple years after his last year eligible as a camper volunteer as a counselor in training and later returned as a counselor too. The WeRClean family and Eduardo believe that any kid deserves the opportunity to enjoy Oak Hall’s amazing summer program and the significant experience it can have on a kid’s summer and year.
The scholarship provides a full summer of summer camp programming, at no cost, in the Oak Hall Summer Program. One award will be presented each summer and the award will be given to an immigrant or low-income family who otherwise could not afford to send their kids to summer camp.
Families who meet qualification criteria should complete the Need Based Financial Assistance packet and attach a letter establishing their qualification and desire for consideration of this scholarship. Applications are due by May 1 each year.
Scholarship includes application fee, camp/course fee for the entirety of the Oak Hall Summer Programs operating schedule, and any “plus” fees. Camps run by third party vendors are exempt from this award. Please contact the Summer & Auxiliary office for those exemptions or with questions.
