Jeff Malloy

Director of Operations

Jeff Malloy brings over 35 years of summer camp experience to Oak Hall–as a camper, leader-trainee, counselor and director.  Mr. Malloy is the Director of Operations for the school. Mr. Malloy previously served as Oak Hall School’s Athletic Director for the last 23 years.

Danielle Tripp

Assistant Director for Summer & Auxiliary Programs

This is Danielle’s thirteenth summer working with the Oak Hall Summer Program.  During the school year, Danielle also serves as the registrar in the Summer & Auxiliary Programs office.

This is Carter’s twentieth summer with the Oak Hall Summer Program.  He serves as the Summer Camp Program Director.

Tanya Sayour

Camp Nurse

The Oak Hall Summer Program is pleased to be advised by Oak Hall parent and school year nurse Tanya Sayour! Tanya will advise and assist the Oak Hall Summer Program and brings 14 years experience in pediatric nursing.  An EMR is also available on campus throughout much of our programming.

This is Linda’s third summer with Oak Hall! During the year she serves as the Summer & Auxiliary Programs Head Counselor. Let’s have a great summer!

Sunny Murphy Brown

Sunny is excited to join us this summer in our ECLC division! During the school year she serves as a 5th grade teacher here at Oak Hall.

This is Emily’s second summer at Oak Hall. Emily enjoys working with our youngest campers and sharing her creativity with them!

This is Thomas’ fourth summer with Oak Hall! During the school year Thomas serves as our Eagles Landing, school store, manager.

Shannen Murray

Middle School Program Director

This is Shannen’s fourth summer at Oak Hall. This summer Shannen joins us as our Middle School Program Director. During the school year, she teachers high school in St. Johns County.

Summer 2024 Opportunities

The Oak Hall Summer Program is pleased to announce that it will hold  interviews for summer camp positions listed below. All camp positions begin June 3rd and end July 26th unless otherwise noted. Interested applicants should submit a resume and copy of application found at https://www.oakhall.org/careers/ Instructions regarding the interview, including how to RSVP, will be emailed following the successful submission of your application and resume.

  • Summer Day Camp Counselor or Junior Counselor in several specialty areas listed below.  Counselor will be responsible for a group of approximately 8 kids (ages 3-12) daily including the planning and management of 4 daily activity classes.  Hours would rotate between 8:30-4:15, 7:30-4:15, and 8:30-6:00.  Salary is $13.50/hour for Junior Counselor and $14.00/hour for the Counselor position.

  • Summer Day Camp Flex Counselor.  Counselor will help with daily delivery of summer day camp program for kids ages 3-12 and assist with the daily management of after camp care insuring safe and efficient check-out of campers. Salary is $14.00/hour

  • Summer Art Program Director The Summer Camp Art Program Director requires on-site leadership from May 27, 2024 to July 19, 2024, weekdays during the morning (No camp the week of July 4th) for 20-40 hours weekly (afternoon opportunities may be available). Additional time is allotted for preplanning and input on hiring decisions of counseling staff (if applicable) before the start of summer and can be done remotely. Salary is $17.00/hour
  • Lower School Camp Co-Program Director The Lower School Day Camp is the program option for children in rising Grades 1-5 . The goal of the day camp programs is to provide a camp program that nurtures and enriches the whole child by providing activities in a safe environment that they may not otherwise encounter daily. We want to make Oak Hall their camp home.The Lower School Summer Camp Co-Program Directors requires on-site leadership from June 5, 2023 to July 28, 2023, weekdays from 7:30-4:00 or 9:30-6:00 (No camp July 4th). Additional time is allotted for preplanning and input on hiring decisions of counseling staff before the start of summer and can be done remotely. Salary is $17.00/hour

 

Counselor-in-Training Program

This program is offered to rising 9th graders and above who want to assist with one of our summer programs but have “aged out” in their ability to be a camper.  In order to be considered, interested campers must complete:

  • CIT Application and Goals (online with registration)
  • CIT Reference Form, along with two teacher references
  • Notarized Affidavit of Good Moral Character (all forms are located below)
  • CIT Online Registration.  Please select weeks with camps you are interested in.

Program Fees:

CIT’s entering grade 9 or higher – $76/week if registration and packet is received by April 15th; $82/week if registration and packet is received between April 16th and May 15th; and $85/week for registrations and packets received after May 16th.

Now offering a 9 week CIT Summer Package: $615 if registration and packet is received by April 15th; $665 if registration and packet is received between April 16th and May 15th; and $690 for registrations and packets received after May 16th.
