Next Stop: Broadway is an exciting one-week intensive designed for aspiring performers to explore the art of musical theater from every angle. This immersive camp focuses on developing the “triple threat” – acting, singing, and dancing – while also offering an inside look at the design and production aspects of theater.
Throughout the week, students will participate in hands-on workshops led by professionals working in the industry, offering invaluable insights into the creative process. Each day of the program focuses on a different aspect of theater: from vocal techniques and choreography to acting skills and scene work. In addition to performance training, campers will have the unique opportunity to dive into the technical side of theater. They’ll explore lighting, set design, costume creation, and other behind-the-scenes elements, all of which are crucial to bringing a show to life. This experience not only builds artistic skills but also fosters a deeper understanding of the collaborative process that happens on and off the stage.
