The Oak Hall Summer Program is made up of so many camp offerings – over 130 different camps ranging from five divisions of full day camps serving kids aged 3-15, to 1/2 day Art, Enrichment, Sports, Technology/STEAM, or Summer Studies, to elective camps which enhance the day camp experience in our Lower School Day Camp and a sampling of Early Childhood Camps. Daily, almost 300 campers gather on our campus during the summer months for fun and creative camp experiences. This summer, that experience kicks to a new level!
The Summer 2024 One Camp themes are meant to unify us all through weekly themes and corresponding activities which will set the Oak Hall Summer experience apart from other Summer Programs. Led by Oak Hall Summer Program Director Carter Johnson, each camper, regardless of the camp or program they are registered for* will enjoy the ONE CAMP INITIATIVE experience!
Unified WEEKLY THEMES will drive activities in each division and in our ONE CAMP INITIATIVE programming
A weekly DRESS UP DAY will allow campers and staff an opportunity to get into the spirit and enjoy the fun all while participating in friendly group and individual competitions
A weekly CRAFT, SNACK, or SURPRISE activity which mirrors the theme
A weekly SMALL GROUP ACTIVITY connected the theme will be brought to each division of camp with an age appropriate activity for campers to participate in
A weekly CAMP WIDE ACTIVITY connected to the theme will bring campers together to celebrate as a unified body of campers (when age appropriate) to culminate the week in truly memorable fashion!
*Elective ONLY campers will not be able to participate in many of these activities because of the limited time they are on campus. 1/2 Day Campers in Art, Enrichment, Sports, Technology/STEAM, or Summer Studies camps may miss segments of ONE CAMP INITIATIVE programming if camp curriculum in their camp does not allow because of a trip or activity.
