Roblox:Designing Obbys and Adventures

This program is designed for participants who want to learn how to create their own game levels using Roblox, a gaming platform where participants can play and build game worlds. Produce your own immersive experiences, obbys, and platformer-style games. With Roblox as your engine, your game is only limited by your imagination. During the program, you will learn how to build 3D adventures, races, and obstacle courses.  Camp instruction will be provided by Fleming Science Camps.

– Learn to build interactive game maps and obbys using Roblox Studio
– Understand how to build multiple game experiences with at least two game genres
– Learn to create immersive and interactive gaming environments
– Learn to create several puzzles and adventure maps
– Learn to use the Roblox game design tools
– Understand how to test and provide feedback for game development
– Understand how to build improved versions of maps based on game-tester feedback

Campers will be be required to provide the following Primary Technology: A device with Windows 8, 10 or 11 or Mac OS

Other Technology:Headphones, Microphone (optional)

Campers must download the following software prior to camp: Roblox Roblox Studio

Program fee is $300 if registered by April 15th; Program fee is $325 if registered April 16th – May 15th; Program fee is $335 if registered after May 15th.

• Drop off is located in the multipurpose room of the Lower School.
• Morning Care is available from 7:30am to 8:30am at no additional charge
• Morning Care is only available for morning and full-day campers
• If attending a morning session only, pick-up is at 12:00pm in the multipurpose room of the Lower School.
• Campers may extend their day and purchase the “extended afternoon option”.  Pick-up begins at 4:00 pm and is located in the multipurpose room at the Lower School
• Aftercare is available for extended afternoon campers until 6:00pm at no additional charge.
