We are pleased to announce our continued partnership with Fleming Tech Camps to bring us this new and exciting program. Welcome to Minecraft Survival, where young adventurers can embark on an exciting journey through the blocky, pixelated world of Minecraft in Survival Mode. This program offers an immersive and educational experience, combining the thrill of survival gameplay with building and teamwork. Participants will have the chance to socialize with their fellow adventurers during virtual campfires, scavenger hunts, and other fun activities. These events promote friendships and a sense of community by putting everyone in teams to survive and thrive with our experienced staff to see who can make it to The End.
At the end of this camp, campers will:
– Learn to gather essential resources, such as wood, stone, and food, to sustain themselves in the game.
– Acquire knowledge of crafting recipes and the ability to craft tools, weapons, and armor.
– Understand the importance of managing hunger, health, and inventory.
– Learn the importance of respectful communication and good sportsmanship while playing online
– Learn resource management skills by efficiently using tools and materials to complete projects
Campers are required to bring their own technology. Device should have Windows 8,10, or 11; Mac OS; iPad with iOS10 or higher; or a Chromebook. Camper should also bring headphones with microphone. Program fee is $140 with OHLS Day Camp, $240 without OHLS Day Camp, if registered by April 15th; Program fee is $150 with OHLS Day Camp, $260 without OHLS Day Camp, if registered April 16th – May 15th; Program fee is $160 with OHLS Day Camp, $270 without OHLS Day Camp, if registered after May 15th.
